This embroidery design celebrates the beauty of bare branches budding with blossom and the long-awaited arrival of spring. The rich gold pure silk velvet background fabric is hand-dyed so the painted colour is complex. This is then overlaid with the embroidery in a combination of brown and cream silken threads, with white velvet chenille (for the furry buds). Edged with a fine piping of matching silk velvet.
