The generously-sized silk velvet evening pouch is fully lined in turquoise and white finely striped silken fabric, and has silk velvet drawstrings, with bell-shaped ends. The silk velvet used for this design is complex; with a combination of smoky soft green-teal and nutmeg dye colours used to create a painterly effect. This palette forms the backdrop for lilac-blue embroidered flowers with soft khaki and brown leaf detail. The same embroidered design is repeated on the reverse of the pouch.
