This gorgeous contemporary velvet cushion has been created entirely by hand. The twisted silk cords have been crafted into a textural, geometric design. The cords are hand couched with gold and pink silk embroidery threads to hold them in position. The background, in shaded rose pink silk velvet is hand dyed in a deliberate painterly way giving this design more dimension and depth. Edged with a fine piping of matching silk velvet.
